Case study

A Brooklyn café that finally looks as good as its coffee.

The situation

Great coffee, loyal regulars, and a storefront that people walked straight past. The old sign was hand-painted years ago and had faded; the menu was a laminated printout taped to the counter. Nothing on the outside told the story of what was happening inside.

What we did

We built one identity and carried it everywhere it mattered. A simple, confident wordmark. A menu redesigned to lead with the drinks that make the most margin. And an illuminated window sign designed to read from across the street — bright enough to pull people in at night, clean enough to feel at home by day.

The result

The new sign became a talking point in its first week — people came in just to ask about it. The owner reports noticeably more walk-in traffic in the evenings, and the higher-margin drinks now sell themselves off a menu customers can actually read.

↑ Replace these with real photos of the finished pieces (≈1000px wide).

In their words
“People started coming in just to ask about the sign. That's when I knew it worked.”
